From 1982 until 2008, Brent served on the Sovereign Grace Ministries’ Leadership Team. During that time he provided oversight to the churches throughout the southeastern United States and supplied leadership for our international involvements in parts of Asia and the Caribbean.
Brent also provided ongoing theological training for upcoming and existing leaders through his involvement with the Sovereign Grace Ministries’ Pastors College and conferences. In 1991, Brent founded CrossWay Community Church in Charlotte, North Carolina and served as its senior pastor through 2002. From this church base, he served Sovereign Grace Ministries’ larger mission.
